Retail Development Lead – full-time

TOTEME is looking for a Retail Development Lead to join our team in Stockholm full-time. In this role you will be responsible for leading our retail development projects – from small department store pop-ups to large flagship stores in fashion capitals – from design brief, through construction, to opening day. You will report to the Chief Commercial Officer and be a part of the Commercial department.



The role

  • Project-lead all physical commercial development initiatives from idea to launch, including time and process management, stakeholder management and budget adherence.
  • Be the main point of contact for external partners such as architects, general contractors and furniture suppliers, as well as internal stakeholders and team members.
  • Create briefs for the architects.
  • Own and track project budgets.
  • Oversee the design process of the architecture team together with the Chief Brand Officer.
  • Collaborate with interior design, retail experience and visual merchandising teams to enhance the spatial experience for our customers.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing and PR teams for store photoshoots, opening days, press events, and more.
  • Collaborate with the Buying, Planning and Supply Chain teams to ensure a strong opening product assortment.
  • Ensure that equipment and furniture are ordered and delivered according to schedule.
  • Participate in and contribute to TOTEME’s social and environmental sustainability strategy.


Your profile

  • 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a luxury context with a proven track record of opening stores in different settings and locations.
  • Good understanding of space planning, conceptualizing, and material and color usage.
  • Experience in retail interior design is an advantage.
  • Excellent project management skills; experience with a project management tool (Asana, Trello or similar) is preferred.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English.

This is a full-time position based at TOTEME's headquarters in Stockholm with an immediate start.
